He\u2019d been asked to help develop the software now known as DanceForms<\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n

Using this tool and others which Cunningham pioneered, Trustee Trevor Carlson will conduct a workshop with students from arts schools in Catalunya over six days culminated in a series of short Dance Films made by the young artists whose studies are focused in Dance, Music, and Film making. The DanceForms workshop participants will include students from Institute of the Arts Barcelona<\/strong>, Plat\u00f3 del Cinema<\/strong>, and Escola Superior de M\u00fasica de Catalunya<\/strong> and Taller de M\u00fasics<\/strong>. This Official Merce Cunningham Centennial workshop is being supervised and coordinated by Choreoscope<\/strong> and Thorus Arts<\/strong>. <\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=\u00bb1\/2″][vc_column_text]En 1991, a la edad de 72 a\u00f1os, Merce Cunningham incorpor\u00f3 el uso de un programa de software llamado LifeForms<\/strong> en su proceso creativo de danza. Le pidieron que ayudara a desarrollar el software ahora conocido como DanceForms<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Utilizando esta herramienta, pero tambi\u00e9n otras que Cunningham fue pionero, Trevor Carlson de la Fundaci\u00f3n Cunningham<\/strong> impartir\u00e1 un taller con estudiantes de escuelas de arte en Catalunya durante seis d\u00edas culminado en una serie de Cortometrajes de Danza realizados por j\u00f3venes artistas cuyos estudios se centran en Danza, M\u00fasica y Cine. Los participantes del taller DanceForms incluir\u00e1n a estudiantes del Institute of Arts Barcelona<\/strong>, Plat\u00f3 del Cinema<\/strong>, y la Escuela Superior de M\u00fasica de Catalu\u00f1a<\/strong> y el Taller de M\u00fasics<\/strong>.
