Spanish Premiere. Based on Nizar Qabbani’s poem Al Deek (The Rooster), this dance creation experiments with the Baladi form to portray the journey of a dictator. A story of an innocent childhood’s rise to power, their relationship with the feminine, and how this always leads to inevitable downfall.
