Premiere in Spain. On February 24, 2022, at five in the morning, the Russian Federation launched a full-scale military invasion of the territory of Ukraine. The occupiers attacked in all directions, using all: from ground vehicles to ballistic and cruise missiles. Composer Ihor Poklad, together with his wife, had to hide from enemy paratroopers in the basement of their home in Vorzel, Kyiv region, for several weeks.
His melody, written decades ago, called “Flashback” was shared with other Ukrainian artists who are in their hometowns under fire, but continue to create, despite the mortal danger. They were invited to express their urgent feelings by surrendering to the music of Poklad. This is how this film was born.
