The film follows the dancers, who have physical disabilities, as they shape their individual stories into performances. One walks in a steel corset, another is spastic; some performers are in wheelchairs, one has one leg, the other has no legs at all; another one is blind or is losing sight. They dance sensual, exuberant and provocative choreographies in spaces like a theatre, a square, a forest, a living room. The dancers also talk and give us revealing insights into their challenges of everyday existence.
