Starting September 2018 and including what would have been Cunningham’s 100th Birthday 16 April 2019, the Merce Cunningham Trust celebrates the Merce Cunningham Centennial. The 18 month celebration is intended to unite people, cities, and arts and educational institutions in a large-scale representation of his vibrant legacy. The Centennial will include performances; film screenings; discussions; curricula; festive dinner gatherings; and more, in cities around the world.
