The documentary tells the recent history of the Axeri dantza, a traditional dance from Andoain and Aduna (Basque Country), going beyond a simple chronological account. It examines the path from the revival of the dance in 1975 and the first participation of women in 2000 to the present day, focusing on the changes that take place within the ritual, and the emotional consequences in the community that practices it. The documentary brings together past, present, and future through archival footage, recordings from recent years, and testimonies from participants. It presents the Axeri dantza as a living ritual, capable of creating and renewing the local community, where transmission, vulnerability, and dialogue play a fundamental role.
