Synopsis
Portrait of a Generation Award.
Set in the early socialist 1980s, two students from Budapest, Hungary, travel to Kalotaszeg, Transylvania, Romania, to attend a cousin’s wedding. What begins as a daring plan to smuggle antique icons across the border will take an unexpected turn… A tale of adventure, love and tradition, where passion and heritage intertwine, celebrating both the resilience of young hearts and the timeless power of Hungarian culture.
